When Matt Chandler addressed his congregation a few weeks ago with the news of  his brain surgery, one of the comments he made struck a chord with me. “I pray that I suffer well through this.”

Yesterday, upon receiving the news of having Brain cancer, Matt sent out this tweet to his twitter followers:

“Path report is 2ndary at best…good report doesn’t mean much, bad report doesn’t mean anything…my days r numbered and nt by ths report.”

Only a man who believes in the sovereignty of God is able to make statements such as these.

My heart is heavy  for Matt ,  his wife and three small children as they endure this path God is taking them on. Please pray for Jehova Rophe (The Lord who Heals)  to do His healing work in Matt.
