Are you married? Remember the days leading up to your wedding date? The excitement, the anticipation, the pipe dream? Remember when reality hit home and you think to yourself, “What have I gotten myself into”? Don’t act like you never have asked yourself that question or one like it, you are after all human. Marriage is an act that few people commit to anymore. In this microwave generation of instant, personal gratification, we are focused on dictating our lives and ours alone. Marriages fail because there is not a union of souls together, and that union includes Jesus Christ.
So, do you want your marriage to be better? Do you know someone newly married who hasn’t “seen” reality yet? Where do you begin to find help in your marriage? Sure the Bible is a good source, but it’s not the only source.
There is a new marriage seminar coming out on February 11, 2011 that takes a new approach to strengthening and rehabilitating marriages. It’s unlike anything I’ve seen before and I think that it would be most helpful to couples, believers or not.
You can visit their website for more information about hosting this event or attending one in a location near you. Familylife’s reputation for strengthening families spans decades and has a heart for helping families (especially marriages) become what God has called them to be.
Here is a trailer for what the seminar contains. It’s definitely worth watching if you’re interested.

On a personal side note, this video contains teaching from some of today’s leading pastors: Russell Moore, Voddie Baucham, Crawford Lorritts, Paul David Tripp, Michael Easley, Al Mohler, Wayne Grudem and more!
