We are a culture that demands justice. If you don’t believe me, think about the TV that we watch: Law & Order, CSI, NCIS, Criminal Minds, and countless others. What about : The People’s Court, Judge Joe Brown, Judge Judy, Divorce Court and even cheesier shows such as Nancy Grace on CNN.

It’s absurd, the amount of our time we give to these shows and we do it because we demand justice and we  are by nature nosy individuals.

But there comes a day when we will not want justice, and we will desire mercy.

There will be a day when we stand before a Righteous Judge, and we will give account for our sins against Him.

And in that day, we too can be like Casey Anthony; acquitted.  Regardless of what we have done, all will be forgiven if we choose to die to ourselves and cling to Him. If we turn from our selfish nature and run to His free gift of grace, we  will not have to face what we deserve.

Today is the day of salvation, even for Casey Anthony.

Your church may be filled with individuals like Casey Anthony today, and Christ offers the same gift to us all.

Consider your position before Him and pray for the Casey Anthony family instead of tearing them down.
